Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Levin

Robert Downey Jr. met producer Susan Levin during a rough point in his life, just after he had spent time in jail and gone to rehab for drug addiction. She helped pull him out of this dark period and in Hollywood circles, she is known as the “Miracle That Saved Robert Downey Jr.,” according to Harper’s Bazaar.

“I guess the only way to explain it is that I’ve become more like her. I’m still trying to figure out what happened,” Downey Jr. told the magazine. “Whatever I was hungry for when I met Susan, I couldn’t have known how much more satisfying what I got would be.”
They’ve been married since 2005 and share two children.
