The name may ring a bell due to her role as the running mate of John McCain in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Prior to that, Palin etched her name in history as Alaska’s youngest and inaugural female Governor, serving from 2006 until her resignation in 2009. Though her political tenure concluded in 2009, Palin took a foray into the world of entertainment. She helmed “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on TLC in 2010 and later hosted another show titled “Amazing America with Sarah Palin” in 2014. Notably, Palin is also an author; her memoir “Going Rogue: An American Life” sold over 2 million copies within its first month of release. In August 2021, she hinted at the possibility of a U.S. Senate run in 2022.
