Alex Trebek earned a degree in the pantheon of American game show heroes as the host of Jeopardy! His professional yet warmhearted demeanor made him a popular TV personality who had become so recognizable on our TV screens that we nearly felt like we knew him.
He met Jean Currivan at a party, and Trebek later asked her to his home. Currivan is a businesswoman from Huntington, New York, who works as a Real Estate Project Manager. Because of their age gap, she said Trebek and her were just friends after they met. Currivan was more than two decades his junior, but something drew her down the aisle in April 1990. Trebek wished the 24-year age difference between them was a little lower, so he could have met his wife sooner. He wanted to spend more time with her, which proved how sweet of a husband Trebek was.
