Robert Redford

Born on August 18, 1936, Chares Robert Redford Jr is an American producer, director, actor, businessman, philanthropist, environmentalist and takes credit for founding the Sundance Film Festival.

In 1954, Robert Redford got a scholarship for the University of Colorado Boulder and was a constituent of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He never got his college degree because he had to leave the institution for misconduct, leading to him losing his scholarship. The actor then studied painting in Brooklyn and underwent classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Robert Redford started his TV appearances during the early 1960s, where he received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor from The Voice of Charlie Pont. On October 16, 2020, Robert Redford mourned his son, James Redford, from a chronic condition in Fairfax, California. He is now keeping a much lower profile, but we’re sure that he is far from retiring.
