SERENA WILLIAMS

Serena Williams is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. She has set numerous world records in the sport, including holding the most Grand Slam titles in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. In addition, she has won four Olympic gold medals throughout her career. Her older sister, Venus, is also accomplished in equal measure. Together, they are considered to be America’s greatest export when it comes to sports.

Since childhood, Williams had shown a promising prospect for a successful career. During the 1990s, she and her family moved to Florida to train. She began her career in 1995, just a year after Venus started hers. Their father became their coach for much of their early years and made a serious investment in them. Within three years, Williams has emerged as among the top players in the sport, along with her sister. Their dominance in tennis would eventually continue for the following decades, becoming among the best in the world.
