Keely Shaye Smith once made headlines during the 1990s. She is best known as the long-time wife of Pierce Brosnan, who was the fifth actor to portray James Bond. Smith is a journalist and TV personality who began her career during the 1980s. Among the highlights of her career include being an environmental correspondent for ABC’s The Home Show, a correspondent for NBC’s Unsolved Mysteries, and a gardening expert on ABC’s Good Morning America. Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades for her work, primarily concerning environmental issues.

Of course, Smith became known for her marriage to Brosnan. She met Brosnan back in 1994 at a beach in Mexico. They subsequently dated. Seven years later, on August 4, 2001, they tied the knot in Brosnan’s native Ireland. Together, they have two children: sons Dylan and Paris, who were born before their parents tied the knot. Both Brosnan and Smith have worked together for various environmental causes and have made investments towards advancing them.
