Have you ever rocked to one of The Smith’s songs with your air guitar? If you have, then you probably know about their main vocalist, Morrissey. However, the group was only active for a short period. While that event was such a loss, it ultimately allowed Morrissey to pursue his solo career.

Being one of the most talented people in the music industry, it would come as no surprise that he has accumulated dozens of awards. In 1998, he won the Outstanding Contribution to British Music award in the Ivor Novello Awards. Aside from having a successful music career, the singer also tried his magic with writing. In 2015 Morrissey published his first novel, List of the Lost. Even at age 61, he is still very much active.
