Joan Jett

Joan Jett is an American rock singer-songwriter, composer, musician, and actress. She garnered popularity thanks to the single Cherry Bomb along with her then-band, The Runaways. She is also known for the song I Love Rock and Roll, which spent seven weeks on top of the 1982 Billboard Hot 100.

Rightfully attributed as the Queen of Rock and Roll, Joan got inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with her band The Blackhearts. To her credit, she rode her music success and expanded her career towards cinematic and TV popularity. Joan made her film debut in the movie Light of Day. Through the 1990s, she made other TV appearances and also wrote music themes for some shows. Her most recent project of notable success was a documentary released in 2018 focusing on her illustrious 40-year music career.
