Pat Benatar

Pat Benatar is an American singer-songwriter in the genre of rock and pop. She has garnered five platinum albums, two multi-platinum albums throughout her career and became a four-time Grammy Award winner. Two years after Pat released her most successful album, Crimes of Passion, it became a certified 5x platinum in Canada and 4x platinum in the US. In the same year, she released a third album, which became equally successful and well-received as the last.

Her later works would then evolve to a more atmospheric pop genre which would not be as commercially successful as the previous ones. Nevertheless, she has effectively captured the hearts of a generation with her music. In recent news, fans petitioned Pat to get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, considering all the investment she put into the industry. Unfortunately, that request has yet to materialize.
