Jane Fonda

Jane Fonda is an American actress and political activist. In the late 1950s, Jane would drop out of her college degree to pursue a career in acting. She started modeling first and studied at the Actors Studio under Lee Strasberg. Jane then began acting on Broadway and starred in comedic films such as Barefoot in the Park and Cat Ballou. She, later on, proved her worth as a serious actor in her roles in the movies The China Syndrome, The Shoot Horses, Don’t They?, and Klute, among others.

Jane Fonda would later go on a hiatus after her film Stanley & Iris in 1990 and didn’t appear on any projects until 2005 alongside Jennifer Lopez in the movie Monster-in-law. Recently, she became a cast member in the Netflix series Grace and Frankie. Today, Jane has also been using her influence and to campaign for her political and social activism.
