Kevin Bacon is a popular American actor who gained fame in the 1980s. His humble beginnings started at the NYC theater doing musicals. Kevin later transitioned to making TV and film appearances in films like Friday the 13th, Search for Tomorrow, and Diner from acting on stage.

After gaining traction from critics and Hollywood producers, he finally broke through the industry in 1984 for portraying Ren McCormick in Footloose. This would prove to be the most iconic role in his career and catapult him to further stardom. Today, Kevin has an Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award to his credit. In recent times, he still enjoys his time in the limelight and is very active in the industry. Last year Kevin starred in the horror movie You Should Have Left.
