Charles Grodin
Charles Godin is an American comedian, actor, former TV talk show host, and author, born on April 21, 1935. He started his career in acting in the 60s, after appearing in TV series such as The Virginian. During the 70s, Charles moved up into acting in films and eventually landed a starring role in The Heartbreak Kid in 1972. He became a familiar face as he played many supporting roles in Hollywood comedy movies like The Couch Trip, The Lonely Guy, Seems Like Old times, the Great Muppet Caper, and many more.
He is possibly best known for co-starring in the Midnight Run alongside Robert De Niro and his appearances on The Tonight Show and The Late Show. For a short time in the 2000s, Charles Grodin felt a degree of guilt of being away from his children. He left the show business industry and became a stay-at-home father to his children.
