Richard Dreyfuss
Richard Stephen Dreyfuss, who was born on October 29, 1947, is an American actor famous for films from the 1970s to 1990s such as Stand By Me, Down and Out in Beverly Hills, The Goodbye Girl, Mr. Holland’s Opus, American Graffiti, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and Jaws. He was the son of Geraldine Dreyfus, a restaurateur and an attorney.
Dreyfuss started acting when he was still young under his drama teacher, Bill Miller, at Westside Jewish Community Center and Temple Emmanuel in Beverly Hills Arts Center. As of February 2020, Dreyfuss and his Russian-born wife, Svetlana Erokhin, live in their $1.5 million houses in San Diego, California. However, they usually visit London and New York City, where Richard Dreyfuss once resided. Given his long and fruitful career, I guess we can all agree that he deserves to jet-set across the globe.
